Lady Sidey, Dunedin, who has spent several weeks in Wellington, - has returned south. r

Miss Ruth Herrick, Napier, arrived at Wellington this week -after visiting Invercargill, Duriediri, Christchurch.

. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Bidwell, Miss P. Bidwell. and Mr. and Mrs. R N. Barton, Featherston, are visiting Napier.

Mrs. Bruce Stennett, SC Heliers, Auckland, is visitirig~her mother, Mrs. H. A. Shepherd. Moxham Avejiue, Hataitai. ;

Dr.. and Mrs. T. C. Maling, Hastings, are now in Christehurch. They will reside at Cashmere Hills.

Mrs; Derisley Hobbs, 80 Hill Street, who has been the guest .of Mr. and Mrs.F. G. Hobbs, Papanui, Christchurch, has returned to Wellington.

• Mrs. H. Hamilton . has .returned to Akaroa from -a visit to Wellington.

Miss Janet Loder,. daughter of Mr. W. G. Loder, Petone, is now in the United States, according to cable advice .received by Mr. Loder. Miss Loder was living in Switzerland when the war 'started, and for some months afterwards nothing was":heard of her.

She was able to reach Portugal, from whence-she arrived in New York on May 6.
