GESTURE TO FRANCE
NAZI CONCESSIONS
STILL NOT ANNOUNCED

According to the Vichy correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain, a semi-official ■ spokesman stated that the German Government bad made concessions to France because it wished to acknowledge the fidelity with which the French Governmenf had observed the armistice conditions. The gesture by the Reich initiated a positive contribution towards closer ties between the two nations. ■ y. It is reported'from Vichy that despite Admiral Darlan's return, the FrancoGerman conversations are continuing in Paris. Admiral Darlan still has not announced any French concessions.— U.P.A. > • ■ -
