POPULAR EXCURSION TRIP
A popular excursion outing for Wellington sportsmen is the opening day of , the Marlborough Racing Club's Annual Meeting, which closes the northern South Island autumn circuit. There are the usual small but useful fields, and the club anticipates a very successful meeting. Cheap fares are available for Wellington racegoers travelling across to Picton by the Tamahine • leaving ,at 7 a.m, tomorrow and returning at 7 \p.m. The meeting will be concluded on Monday, but there is no excursion for this day.
