Floods at the weekend accounted for small yardirigs of sheep and cattle at Masterton. Prices were:—Sheep: Fat wethers, 21s 6d to 235; fat lambs, 18s 3d to 18s 9d; fat ewes, 10s 4d to 12s 4d; store two-tooth wethers, 18s; ewe lambs, 16s 3d to 20s 6d; w.w. lambs, 9s to 16s Id; store ewes. 4s 6d to 8s 3d; m.a. ewes, r.w. S.D. R., 12s 6d.. Cattle: Fat P.A. cows, £6. Pahiatua also had small offerings and prices were:—Sheep: Wether hogget?, 14s to 9s; ewe hoggets, small, 14s lOd to 12s. Pigs: Weaners, 8s; slips, 10s to 12s. .
