"A.E.F. NEXT"

SEQUEL TO EXTENDED

PATROLS

(Rec. 1 p.m.)

TOKIO, May 2

Banners carrying slogans "Arm the entire nation," "Advance strongly against the United States" were displayed at street corners today. The "Japan Times and Advertiser" predicts that the extending of the United States patrols will lead to the sending of an American expeditionary force overseas. The paper added that the. patrol was absolutely not neutral because it had been announced that it was intended to report the whereabouts of German craft.—U.P.A.
