"BRITANNIA" TONIGHT.

In the Opera House tonight the Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment League will present its monster 1941 revue,' "Britannia," produced by Mr. W. Lints. "Britannia" is claimed to be the most spectacular and fastest-moving show of its kind ever attempted in New Zealand. It has a cast of over 500, which has been rehearsing for eight weeks under the direction of Mr. Lints. It is something more than an amateur show, as many of the leads are professionals, who are giving their services for patriotic purposes. There are 52 different attractions and specialties in "Britannia," also 25 song hits and 28 solo leaders. The best of Wellington's dancers will be seen, and there is a wealth of comedy throughout the revue. ; All profits from the production of "Britannia" are to be given to the local patriotic funds, and at tonight's performance only the Mayor (Mr. Hislop) will introduce the six Patriotic Queens. "Britannia" will continue for nine nights.
