LOWER HUTT LABOUR TICKET
The following have been chosen by the Lower Hutt branch of the Labour. Party to be candidates at the municipal elections on May 17: — Mayoralty.—Mr. H. V. Horlor. City Council. —Messrs. H. G. Burrell, P. Dowse, M. D. Gamble, W. A. F. Hall, R. W. Johnson, H. W. Land, W. T. J. Morrison, J. R. Scott, and Mrs. B A. Logic. Harbour Board.—Messrs. J. dimming and P. Dowse. Hutt Valley Electric Power Board. — Messrs. P. Dowse and J. R. Scott. Hospital Board. — Mesdames M. Dowse and B. A. Logic. Hutt River Board. —Messrs. H. G. Burrell. H. V. Horlor, W. A. F. Hall, W. H. Edwards, and W. T. J. Morrison. Petone and Hutt Gas Lighting Board. —Messrs. J. L. Brown. H. G. Burrell, and H. V. Horlor. Citizens' ticket candidates will address meetings tonight, at the Brooklyn Baptist Hall, the Vogelmorn Hall, and St. Peter's Hall, Ghuznee Street. The Mayor will speak at the two first-named halls.
The Labour candidates will open their campaign at St. Thomas' Hall, Newtown.
