DEATH IN LONDON

EMINENT FRENCH JOURNALIST

(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, April 29

The death is announced in London of M. Elie Bois, an eminent French journalist who had been editor of the Paris "Petit Parisienne" for 25 years.

M. Bois came to Britain at the time of the French military collapse, and was an ardent worker for the Free French cause. His book, "Truth on the Tragedy of France," is generally regarded as one of the most illuminating studies of the events leading to his country's downfall.—B.O.W.
