•Mr. James Roosevelt has arrived. He will stay only three or four days before proceeding to Cairo, via Burma. He and Major Gerald Thomas, who is accompanying him, will act as observers in North Africa.—U.P.A.
An air-raid alarm sounded while Mr. Roosevelt was calling on. the Finance Minister, Mr. S. H. Kung.—U.P.A.
