APPEAL TO PARENTS
EASY WAY TO HELP PLUNKET SOCIETY
The attention of parents who have benefited from the services of the Plunket Society is drawn to the fact that by entering photographs of their babies for the Plunket baby photographic competition at the D.I.C. they can, at little cost to themselves, show their appreciation of the society's work. Because of lack of support it has been necessary to postpone the closing date of the competition until May 15. The society is urgently in need of funds.
At the recent meeting of the Manakau Women's Institute, presided over by Mrs. Staples, it was decided to hold a dance in May to raise funds for institute parcels for soldiers. This month's quota of parcels for soldiers will be eighteen. Mesdames Owles end Willis were appointed delegates to the council meeting at Paraparaumu.
