Wellington's biggest production, '"Britannia," opens at the Opera House for a season of nine nights on May J. For the last eight weeks over 500 performers have been rehearsing daily under the supervision of Mr. W. Lints. is claimed to be the most Spectacular and fastest-moving show of its kind ever attempted in New Zealand. It is more than an amateur production, as many of the leads and specialty artists are professionals who are giving their services to assist in raising patriotic funds. Box plans are at the D.I.C. and day sales are at the. Disabled Soldiers' Shop, 29 Willis Street! ■&. All profits from the production of "Britannia" will be allocated to the .various queen carnival patriotic fund- committees.
