GESTURE FROM EIRE
FIRE BRIGADE AID IN RAID
ON ULSTER
LONDON, April 17,
Fire brigades from towns in Eire, including Drogheda, nearly 100 miles away, raced across the border in response to an SOS from the Government of Northern Ireland during the Belfast raids on Tuesday night. The chief officer of the1 Belfast Fire Brigade said it was a grand gesture from Eire.
Dublin has welcomed hundreds of refugees from Belfast and other parts of Northern Ireland,
