It is noted here that today's German High Command communique states: "The Serbian armed forces capitulated on the evening of April 17," and adds that fighting will cease at noon on April 18.
NAZI ARMOURED STRENGTH
LONDON, April 17,
"The Times" estimates that Germany now has 15 armoured divisions. Putting the strength of each at 400 machines, this would represent a firstline force of 6000 machines,
