The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) is to leave tomorrow night for Rotorua, where he is to open a new .'Native school. Mr. Fraser expects to return to Wellington on Thursday morning.
Mr. J. Dowgray, a director of the Bank of New Zealand, left Wellington for the south last night.
Mr. H. S. S v Kyle, M.P., has been appointed a member. of the Stock Remedies Registration Board, on the recommendation of the New Zealand Veterinary Association.
..Mr. A. S. Elworthy, of Timaru, left Wellington for the.south last night.
Mr. J. Sawers. Assistant General Manager of the New Zealand Railways, has returned to Wellington. Mr. L. O. H. Tripp, of Wellington, returned from the south yesterday. Dr. Kenneth I. Woodward, who ( practised at Takaka, Nelson, for 17 years, died this week at Waiuku. Dr. Woodward was a graduate of Otago University, and left Takaka some years ago to acquire a farm at Waiuku."
