INTOXICATED DRIVER

A fine of £30 was imposed upon Chester Laurancc Simpson, Avho appeared before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, charged with being intoxicated in charge of a car in Karori Road. Simpson pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was convicted after the evidence of a number of witnesses had been heard. Simpson, for whom Mr. A. J. Mazengarb appeared, was deprived of his driving licence until May 31. 1943.
