PATRIOTIC BOWLING

The Hataitai Bowling Club last Saturday afternoon held its fourth tourna- i ment in aid of,the patriotic fund. Sixteen teams competed for prizes donated by Mr. James Bell, and the winners were D. V. Claridge, E. E. Stoupe. G. H. Bullard, and A. C. Wells (s). who handed their prizes over to the fund. The amount remitted to the patriotic fund was £8 12s 6d. A similar amount resulted from the previous afternoon tournaments.
