A USEFUL TEST
The E.P.S. rehearsal held on Saturday proved a most useful test. It revealed the strength of the organisation and also the points where greater efficiency can be attained. The attendance was gratifying, particularly in view of the fact that, many members were detained by business. The measure of co-operation achieved was also remarkably good. Up lo the present much of the preparation for E.P.S. work has had to be on paper. Circumstances do not provide the tests which would enable the organisation to gain experience under practical conditions. Nevertheless, the results on Saturday showed that I he scheme that has been Avorkcd out is sound and will, wilh very little practice, provide an organisation of great value. There are details still to be arranged, such as the convenient distribution of equipment ihrough Avidespread districts. Also, of course, the local units need to familiarise themselves with the areas for Avhich they are responsible. But these matters will be the more speedily arranged noAv that a rehearsal has given an indication of the lines to be followed.
