AUXILIARY'S PRACTICAL
HELP
Keen interest and a great measure of practical help had characterised the year's work of the Rongotai ladies' auxiliary, stated the pi^esident. Mrs. H. Q. Bruce, at the annual general meeting held recently. The purpose of the auxiliary from the social, aspect, she said, was to develop a community of interest in and around the college. The financial affairs 'of the auxiliary had been well managed, enabling it to contribute under various headings the best part of £100.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. H. Q. Bruce (re-elected); vice-presi-dents, Mesdames Allen, Bastings, Browman. Colquhoun, Gardiner, and Heron; hon. secretary, Mrs. J. Brown (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mrs. W Denby (re-elected); conveners, Mrs. Gordon (Hataitai). Mesdames Allen and McGregor (Kilbirnie and Rongotai), Mrs. Heron (Lyall Bay), Mrs. Colquhoun (Miramar), Mesdames Gardiner and Wixon (Seatoun), Mrs. Fox (Island Bay).
