N.Z. CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP
The play-off for the New Zealand chess championship, which was set down for this afternoon, has been postponed until next Saturday at 2 p.m. owing to the illness of Dr. P. Allerhand. who, with Mr. R.'G, Wade, tied for first place at'the chess championships neld in Timaru during the Christmas holidays.
