DISTRICT NEEDS
KAROR! WEST MEETING
Various matters concerning the welfare of the district were considered at a meeting of the executive of the Karori West Residents' Association, Mr. A. R. Cliffe presiding over a full attendance of members. The need for the completion of certain footpathb and roads was stressed, and there was consideration of questions relating to street lighting and fire alarms, and trsm signs, stops, and sections, with a view to having representations made to the proper authorities. A welcome was extended to the president, Mr. L. G. Clarke, and letters were received from Mrs. C. Stewart, M.P., and Mr. R. A. Wright (vice-president) stating that, in accepting office, they would do what they could to further the welfare of the district and the association.
A report was made by the secretary, Miss B. Feehan, that over 100 new members had been enrolled for the ensuing year.
