GERMAN COMMUNIQUE
LONDON, February 15,
A German communique claims • that fighters on Friday shot down nine British planes of the Spitfire type on the south-east coast of England. German fighters attacked enemy columns in Cyrenaica and destroyed military objectives at Benghazi and the British base at EL Agheila. The R.A.F. dropped high explosive and incendiary bombs on the Reich last night, especially on a town in west Germany. A number of civilians were killed or wounded.
