AERODROME FATALITY
COURT-MARTIAL'S DECISION

NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 16.
The decision of the court-martial which tried Flying Officer C. Parker, instructor at No. 2 Elementary Flying Training School, on charges arising from a fatal accident at Bell Block aerodrome on December 6, has. been announced by the Air! Department. Flying Officer Parker was charged, first, with neglect in flying causing loss of life; secondly, with an act of flying causing loss of life; and, thirdly, with causing damage to one of his Majesty's aircraft.
He was found not guilty on the first and third charges, and on the second charge he was found guilty and-was severely reprimanded.
At the annual meeting of the Ancient Order, of Foresters Friendly Society the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—District Chief Ranger, Bro. J. Fisher (Carterton); District Sub-Chief Ranger> Bro. E. E. Anset; Immediate Past District Chief Ranger, Bro. T. E. Hogarth; District Secretary, Bro. L. J. Retallick; District Treasurer, Bro. F. W. Ward; District Senior Woodward, Bro." G. L. Earney; District Junior Woodward, Bro. I. G. Lythgoe; District Senior Beadle, Bro. R. Pattison; District Junior Beadle, Bro. A. W. Mills.
