Information regarding yesterday's meeting at Borclighera between Signor Mussolini and General Franco, who .was accompanied by his Foreign Minister, Senor Suner, is almost entirely limited to the. terms j of the communique, which states that the conversations served to em-; phasise the identity of the points of view of the Italian and Spanish Governments on European and such other problems as concerned the two countries. LONDON, February 13. The Vichy correspondent of the British Press says that the changed balance of power in the Mediterranean j as a result of General Wavell's offensive is reported to have been the I main topic of the conversations between Signor Mussolini and General Franco. This is also, the subject of the impending talk between Marshal Petain and General Franco, in addition to the question of a Latin Mcdi« terranean bloc for joint defence which Spain desires but which it is understood the Axis has twice rejected.
