The Egyptian Prime Minister tendered a State luncheon to the Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Menzies. The guests included General and Lady Wavell, Sir Miles Lampson, British Ambassador to Egypt, and Lady Lampson, the Egyptian Minister of Defence, and King Farouk and Queen Farida.
