HIGHWAYS BOARD

PRESENTATION TO MR. WOOD

At Wednesday's meeting of the Main Highways Board the opportunity was taken to farewell Mr. J. Wood, chairman of the board, who, in his position as Engineer-in-Chief and Under-Secre-tary of the Public Works Department, is to retire shortly on superannuation

As a memento of the esteem in whic^i they held him, the members presented Mr. Wood with two air-travel cases and a fountain pen.
