PLAYS AND PLAYERS

FIRST THESPIAN PRODUCTION

The first Thespian production for this year is to be Shakespeare's great tragedy, "Hamlet." Theatregoers will remember with pleasure the Thespians' outstanding production of "Macbeth," which began their season last year, and in choosing "Hamlet" they are continuing their policy of presenting one Shakespearean play a year. Arrangements have already been made for special performances for schools, and the season, as a result bf the excellent houses last year, is likely this year tc be extended. The production is scheduled for the end of March and it is to be directed by Myles Wright, who produced "Macbeth" last year.
