REMANDED FOR SENTENCE

Found guilty by a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon on six charges oi breaking and entering and theft ' in respect of city premises, Leo Sylvester Hannan, aged 39, a bush^ man, was remanded by Mr. Justice Johnston for sentence. The jury was out for nearly an hour. Mr, C. H. Weston, K.C., and Mr. W. R. Birks appeared for the Crown, and Mr, G, I. Joseph conducted the defence, which was a denial of the allegations of the Crown.

Among the aluminium collected by the Women's Voluntary Service from Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and Sandringham was a box containing pieces from the little house given by Wales to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret.
