PROFESSOR'S DEATH
.. ♦ SUGGESTED REPLY TO MAGNETIC MINE LONDON, January 30. The death has occurred of Dr. Bernard Parker Haigh, Professor of Applied Mechanics at the Royal Naval College, Greenwich, who suggested the method responsible for combating the magnetic mine. He was 56 years old.
