The Minister of Finance (Mr, Nash) returned to Wellington this morning after an extended visit' to the South Island. The Minister of Education (Mr. Mason) returned last night from the East Coast. The Minister of Labour (Mr. Webb) has returned from the South Island. The Minister of Agriculture (Mr. Barclay) is visiting the South Island. The Minister of Health (Mr. Nordmeyer) left Oamaru last evening. The Hon. P. K. Paikea, representative of the Native race on the Executive Council, left last night for Kaipara. , Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, left Wellington this afternoon for Auckland. He will return to Wellington on Tuesday morning. Mr. F. Maurice Clarke, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned to Wellington. Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., is at present visiting Wellington. Canon D. J. Davies, of St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, who has been on holiday in Auckland, has returned to Wellington. Mr. A. J. Stratford, registrar of the Federation of New Zealand Justices, is visiting Wellington for a meeting of the executive of the federation. Mr. N. B. Spencer, president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, is visiting Wellington for a meeting of the, executive of the Associated Chambers' of Commerce. Mr. Noel Coward' travelled from Wellington to Auckland by air yesterday. The Hon. M. Fagan, Speaker of the Legislative Council, is visiting Auckland. Dr. G. H. Scholefield, General Assembly libraiuan, left Wellington for the south last night. Sir Joseph Smith, Auckland, acting Dominion Chief Commissioner of the Boy Scouts' Association, and Mr. Hector Christie, Wanganui. are visiting Wellington for the quarterly meeting of the Dominion executive.
