FALL OF STONE

MINER FATALLY INJURED

NELSON, January 17.

John Henry Mansell, miner, aged 27, was fatally injured by a fall of stone in the Owen Collieries mine, Owen Eiver. He received a fractured skull and crushed chest, and died soon after admission to the Nelson Hospital. He was a married man with no children, and had been employed at the mine for only a short time.
