BOMBED HOSTEL

RESCUERS STILL WORKING

LONDON. January 17

Although hope has been given up Of bringing out more persons alive, rescuers are still working on the men's hostel in London which was hit by a bomb last night. Of the 80 men who are believed to have been in the hostel when it was bombed, 34 were brought out alive, but there is now no sign of tappings Or voices fr6m .beneath what is one of London's biggest piles of rubble.

A relief force recovered more bodies from the hostel. Two hundred troops continued the search this morning.
