GILBERT AND SULLIVAN OPERAS.

Owing to the successes achieved by J. C. Williamson's latest Gilbert and Sullivan Comic Opera Company in Auckland, where the season had to be extended, the dates originally. booked in the provincial cities and towns have had to be put forward, and they are now as follows:—New Plymouth, Wednesday, January 29 "The Gondoliers," Thursday afternoon, January 30 "H.M.S. Pinafore" (preceded by "Trial By Jury"), ■ Thursday night "The Mikado"; Hawera, Friday, January 31 "The Gondoliers"; Palmerston North, Saturday, February 1 "The Gondoliers," Monday, February 3 "The Mikado," Monday afternoon "H.M.S. Pinafore" (preceded by "Trial By Jury"), Tuesday night, February 4 "The Yeomen of the Guard"; Wanganui, February 5 "The Gondoliers," Thursday afternoon, February 6 "H.M.S. Pinafore" (preceded by "Trial By Jury"), Thursday night "The Mikado"; Hastings, Friday, February 7 "The Gondoliers," Saturday afternoon. February 8 "The Yeomen of the Guard," Saturday night "The Mikado"; Napier, Monday afternoon, February .0 "H.M.S. Pinafore" (preceded by "Trial By Jury"), Monday night "The Gondoliers"; Masterton, Tuesday, February 11 "The Gondoliers." The Wellington season will begin on Wednesday, February 12, with "The Gondoliers." Applications for seats for the Wellington season will be received at the D.I.C. from next Tuesday, and the ordinary box plans will be opened on Friday, February 7.
