Brigadier P. H. Bell, D.5.0., officer commanding the northern military district, and Lieutenant-Colonel D. E. Bremner, M.C., N.Z.S.C, general staff officer, arrived in Wellington today from Auckland to attend a staff conference.

Captain E. K. Clarke, formerly quartermaster of the 9th Heavy Regiment, New Zealand Artillery, has been appointed to the New Zealand Temporary Staff and posted deputy assistant quartermaster-general at northern military district headquarters.
