The Minister of National Service (Mr. Semple) returned to Wellington from the South Island this morning.
Brigadier O. H. Mead Wellington this, morning,
arrived in
Mr.' Andersen Tyrer arrived in Wellington from Auckland yesterday.
Brigadier P. H. Bell, D.5.0., officer commanding the northern military district, and Lieutenant-Colonel D. E. Bremner, M.C., N.Z.S.C, general staff officer, arrived in Wellington today from Auckland to attend a staff conference.
Captain E. K. Clarke, formerly quartermaster of the 9th Heavy Regiment, New Zealand Artillery, has been appointed to the New Zealand Temporary Staff and posted deputy assistant quartermaster-general at northern military district headquarters.
