STEAMING TOWARDS BRAZIL
MONTEVIDEO, January 16.
The French 8000-ton ship Mendoza, which has departed ostensibly for France, was sighted before dark steaming towards Brazil, still within the neutrality zone. An armed merchant cruiser , was zigzagging seven miles behind.
