Rugby.—Wrecked Italian planes are a prominent feature of the landscape between Bardia and Tobruk. Three fighters within .100 yards of one another stand crashed on their noses, and one 579 which had not been destroyed by the Fascists was found riddled from nose to rudder with bullet holes—B.O.W.
CHINESE GENERAL'S TRIP
San Francisco. —General Hsieh-shen, commander of Chinese Northern Army, has arrived en route to the Embassy at Washington. It is believed that he has a mission on behalf of the Chinese Government. —P.A. Cable.
