SUPPLEMENTARY TESTS

AUCKLAND, January 16,

Supplementary examinations for candidates who failed in the- November examinations were urged by the New Zealand University Students' Association in a letter received by the University Senate today. If the proposal was adopted, the association suggested, it would in many cases obviaie tl;e necessity fv the senate to v- its power of crediting units to those on military service. Supplementary examinations for the duration of the war might be held early in March and some limitation of the type of candidates be imposed.
