AGROUND OFF FLORIDA
WEST PALM BEACH, January 12.
The s.s. Manhattan (24>289 tons), en route to San Francisco with 200 passengers and a crew of 500, went, aground at Lake Worth Inlet. A coastguard vessel is going to her assistance;
The Manhattan is about 900 yards offshore, • but is apparently in no immediate danger.
