PILOT CAPTAIN H. J. HORSEY
LONDON, January 10. The founder of Imperial Airways, Pilot Captain H. J. Horsey, who had flown 1,690,000 miles without serious mishap and without injuring a single passenger, was killed while serving as a ferry pilot for the Air Transport
Auxiliary. His /18-year-old son, Michael, is the R.AJ'F.'s youngest pilot officer. They were the only father and son flying in %is war.
