HEALTH IN BOMB SHELTERS

(Britisb Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, January 8,

Satisfaction is generally experienced at the reassuring statement by Sir William Jameson, chief medical officer of the Ministry of Health, concerning the public health in Britain in wartime with special reference to the conditions in air-raid shelters. "The Times" says: "The welfare of the whole community is bound up with securing healthy conditions in the shelters, and therefore the statement that no outbreak of infection has been reported in any of them is all the more welcome."
