SERVICEMEN'S CLUB
TOC H CALLS FOR HELPERS
The Toe H Servicemen's Club, which is open to men of the forces throughout the week, is more than usually active at the weekends, when an informal dance is held every Friday evening and "open house" maintained on Sundays for all servicemen. On these occasions a midday as well as evening meal is served, and afternoon tea and supper provided, visitors being entertained with games, etc., by a committee of helpers.
The weekend arrangements are in the hands of the League of Women Helpers of Toe H and the ladies' committee, and they would be glad to hear from young women who would be willing to assist in the work of entertaining servicemen during the coming year. Those willing to assist are asked to communicate with Mrs. E. R. Morgan, the president of the joint ladies' committee, at 216 Lambton Quay, Wellington, Cl.
The club's 1941 activities will begin with a dance on Friday, January 17.
