HAWERA, January 2. Held in perfect weather, the Stratford Racing Club's Summer Meeting was brought to a successful conclusion today. Though the attendance was not quite as large as on New Year's Day, the sum of £23,447 (an increase of £754 10s) was handled, and brought the-total for the meeting to £53,534 10s, against £49,681 last tyear, an increase of £3853 10s.
