EXAMINATIONS.

'At the last Chamber of Commerce "Examinations held in November, trained at Gilby's Business •College were successful in eclipsing tlast year's record, which was also an * excellent one. " "The three Scholarships awarded this ■ year were all gained by Gilby-trained students. Miss Margaret Francis and t'Miss Shirley Shearer tied for the New *; Zealand Award in the Chamber of ~ Commerce Scholarships, and the Chamibeir has decided to grant two National this year instead of one 'National and one Wellington Scholartship. A Senior (second-year) ScholarJship has also been awarded to Miss -:J/laureen L. -■* Students presented by Gilby's Busi*ness College have again been success* "ful in gaining first and second placein New Zealand for Typewriting. This has an unbroken record for top places in typewriting over the last : i our years.
