LONDON, December 15,

An Italian communique states that the British three times raided Naples from the air last night and dropped bombs on the port and a "Molotov breadbasket" on the city.

Bombs hit a warship of medium tonnage in the harbour at Naples, but the damage was not serious. Fifty of the crew are dead or wounded.

Another bomb sank a small sailing ship. A.R.P. units quickly extinguished fires. Eight civilians were wounded.
