Greek Army Success
FIERCE FIGHTING IN SNOW
LONDON, December 13. Greek headquarters have not issued any news about the fighting1 in Albania since last night, but there are reports of great successes from correspondents in Athens and with the Greek troops at the front. The British United Press correspondent at Athens says that Greek forces in the coastal sector have occupied Port Palermo on the coast, 15 miles north-west of Saranta. Further north, fierce fighting is going on .in a. heavy snowstorm. At one point an entire Italian regiment is said to have been wiped out when it crossed a ravine. This was due to the fact that the heights commanding it were already in Oreek hands. In the extreme north the Greeks are said to have taken an Italian position close to the Yugoslav frontier. It had obviously been prepared for a long defence and had big stores of munitions in underground dumps. The Italians had defended it stubbornly for days. There have been small Greek advances in all' parts of Albania.
