Well, 014 Peter has gone at last, What.t^li|tle^orkahire> fishing, village tof Staithes will do without him we can hardly imagine* but at is certain that the last of his nine lives' has been lost. No cat ever passed out of this world mbre serenely,rewrites an animal lover, in the, "Children's Newspaper."- . ■ '■ •■ ■ ' ■"■ \V;' '-y::::'.\ \ He: was 28; Pebjele say he was the pldeist cat in England,' but jsefhaps this is not true.. Anyhow, he' has. been iEamous for years, and no visitor to Staithes ever thought his stay complete without a word of greeting for this affectionate and extremely dignified inhabitant.
