To reduce the heavy demand for wrapping paper during the Christmas shopping rush the Minister of Supply, Mr. Sullivan, today urged that baskets and shopping bags be carried by people for their purchases. Scandinavian supplies of paper had been completely cut off and another reason for economy was to reduce the demand on shipping space.
