LABOUR ORGANISATIONS

LONDON, November 18.

A move to close the ranks of American workers is expected today when the country's two big labour organisations will open their annual conventions. It is thought the American Federation of Labour will take the initiative. Both organisations are agreed that American aid for Britain is a vital part of the national defence programme. .
