CROSS-CHANNEL GUNS

LONDON, November 17

The British and German long-range guns fought a three-hour duel across the Straits of Dover, following a largescale attack by Royal Air Force bombers on German invasion ports along the coast. The German big guns went into action immediately the raid ended.
