"FIFTH COLUMN" AGAIN

PLANES INTERCEPTED

AMERICAN SUPPLIES TO

BRITAIN

(Received November 18, 2.10 p.m.)

The-'Germans' ability to intercept planes, he said, was directly traceable to the highly-organised "fifth column," because the transatlantic flights were arranged in the greatest secrecy.
