DIPLOMATS CONFER
SATISFACTORY RELATIONS
SENOR SUNER'S VISIT
TO BERLIN
LONDON, November 16,
The Lisbon correspondent of the "Daily Teelgraph" says that Lord Lothian conferred with the British Ministers in Spain and Portugal, Sir Samuel Hoare and Sir Walford Selby. Sir Samuel Hoare reported satisfactory Anglo-Spanish relations.
Despite German influence, the Foreign Minister, Senor Suner, has consented to allow the Press to publish British war communiques. Sir Samuel Hoare is permitted to circulate twice daily transcriptions of 8.8.C. news to Government officials.
The Spanish Air Mission has arrived in Lisbon from England en route to Spain. The members of the mission were very much impressed with the organisation of the R.A.F..
Senor Suner has accepted Herr yon Ribbentrop's invitation to go to Berlin from Paris.
The newspaper "Arriba" has announced the completion of the incorporation of Tangier in Spanish Morocco. Colonel Figueras, Acting Governor of Tangier, will accompany Senor Suner to Paris.
